BIKER BURGERS
For cooking convenience, rely on Volk's Cook'd Right Sensors to determine when your burgers are done. Spicy hot for the Biker in all of us.

Ingredients

| sun-dried tomatoes, thinly sliced

| teaspoons
| chopped garlic

| paprika

| ancho pepper, stemmed and torn into small pieces

| dried long slim cayenne pepper, stemmed and crushed
| | 1/2
| cup
| boiling water

| ounces
| ground beef |
Preparation
- Place the sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, paprika, and ancho and cayenne peppers in a small bowl and cover with boiling water.
- Allow to cool to room temperature, then puree the mixture in a blender or food processor equipped with a chopping blade. Scrape the mixture into a 1-cup measure, adding cool water as needed until it equals 1 full cup.
- Place the ground in beef in a medium mixing bowl and add the pureed mixture. Mix thoroughly and let stand for 15 minutes.
- Form the mixture into patties and barbeque allowing 4 to 5 minutes a side.
- Use the Cook'd Right® Sensor to check doneness of patties. Quickly insert dark sensor tip into center of meat. Wait 5-10 seconds. Remove sensor tip and check color. Continue checking with the same sensor until done.
- Serve piping hot.
