CAJUN CHICKEN BURGERS
For cooking convenience, rely on Volk's Cook'd Right Sensor to determine when your chicken burgers are done. Work Time: 20 minutes. Total Time: 20 minutes

| Lettuce, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onion |
Preparation
- In medium bowl, combine chicken, bread crumbs, egg, scallions, 1 tablespoon cajun seasoning, and mustard. Shape into four 4-inch patties.
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties to 4 minutes per side until cooked through, reducing heat to medium if necessary.
- Use the Cook'd Right® Sensor to check doneness of patties. Quickly insert dark sensor tip into center of meat. Wait 5-10 seconds. Remove sensor tip and check color. Continue checking with the same sensor until done.
- Top with cheese, cover, and melt.
- Mix barbecue sauce and 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning. Serve burgers on buns with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and sauce.
