HAMBURGERS WITH PEACH RELISH
For cooking convenience, purchase ground beef equipped with a package of Volk's Cook'd Right Sensors.

Ingredients

| Ripe peach, peeled, halved and pitted

| Plum tomato, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
| | 1
| clove
| garlic
| | 1
| Rounded teaspoon
| minced jalapeno pepper
| | 1/2
| teaspoon
| Sugar
| | 1/2 - 1
| teaspoon
| cider vinegar

| Salt, freshly ground
| |

| White pepper
| | 2

| Hamburgers, cooked to taste
| | 2
|
| Hamburger buns or 4 slices pumpernickel bread |
Preparation
- Place peach, tomato, garlic and jalapeno pepper in food processor and process or mince by hand. Remove to bowl. Add sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Let stand while making hamburgers.
- Form 2 patties with the ground beef and grill.
- Use the Cook'd Right® Sensor to check doneness of patties. Quickly insert dark sensor tip into center of meat. Wait 5-10 seconds. Remove sensor tip and check color. Continue checking with the same sensor until done.
- Place hamburgers on buns or bread. Top each with half the relish and serve immediately.
