Burgers & Steaks Poultry Lamb Fish Pork Beef (Roasts & Loins)

BAKED BEER BURGERS

To easily tell when the burgers are done, use Volk's Cook'd Right® Sensor during preparation.
Yield: 6 patties

Ingredients

2

lb.

ground beef

   

pepper; to taste

1

tbsp.

Tabasco sauce

1

 

garlic clove; crushed

1/3

cup

chili sauce

1/2

pack

dry onion soup mix

1/2

cup

beer

Steps for Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Combine meat, pepper, Tabasco sauce, garlic, chili sauce, dry onion soup mix, and 1/4 cup of beer.
  3. Shape into 6 patties.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.
  5. Baste with remaining 1/4 cup of beer.
  6. Continue baking and use the Cook'd Right® Sensor to check doneness of patties.
    1. Quickly insert dark sensor tip into center of meat. Wait 5-10 seconds.
    2. Remove sensor tip and check color.
    3. Continue checking with the same sensor until done.
    4. Discard sensor when finished.
  7. At about an additional 10 -15 minutes of baking, patties are done. Sensor tip will be completely orange.
