SALMON WITH LEMON HERB MAYONNAISE

For cooking convenience, purchase salmon steaks already equipped with Volk's Pop-Up® Timer. Accompany this easy entrŽe with a Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, or White Zinfandel.

Ingredients

1 Teaspoon Grated lemon zest
1 1/2 Tablespoon Unsalted butter
2 Tablespoons Minced parsley
1/4 Cup Mayonnaise
4 6-oz Salmon steaks


Preparation

  1. Prepare broiler or grill.
  2. Combine lemon zest, butter, parsley and mayonnaise in a bowl.
  3. Season salmon with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Mix all ingredients thoroughly and chill.
  5. Cook salmon 5-6 minutes per side, until buttonhead of Pop-Up Timer "pops" up.
  6. Serve salmon with a spoon of lemon mayonnaise.
