BEEF POT
ROAST
For cooking convenience, purchase a
pot roast equipped with Volk's Pop-Up® Timer.

Steps for Preparation
- Heat oil in a pot.
- Add the meat and brown well on both sides.
- Remove the meat and pour out the fat.
- Replace the meat and add onion, carrot, and cola.
- Place over medium heat, making sure the Pop-Up® Timer is visible on top.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Add stock and salt.
- Cover and cook until the button-head of the Pop-Up® Timer pops up, about 1 1/4 hours.
- Add the peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
